These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by IDS Global (UK) Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 07709188), with its registered office at 27-37 Station Road, Hayes, UB3 4DX ("IDS Global", "we", "us", "our"). By engaging our services, you ("the customer") agree to be bound by these terms.
Payment Terms
A deposit of 50% is required prior to the start of the installation. The remaining 50% is due within 7 days of the completion of the work.
Some services — including maintenance, monitoring, and repairs — may have different payment terms, which will be outlined in the relevant quotation or contract.
Warranty
All parts and labour are covered by a one-year warranty unless stated differently on the quotation. Any issues not covered by the warranty will incur a call-out fee of £135 + VAT, which must be prepaid before a visit is arranged.
Ownership of Equipment
The equipment installed during the service remains the property of IDS Global (UK) Ltd until full payment has been received. The customer is responsible for maintaining the equipment in good condition and will be liable for any damages or losses sustained while the equipment remains our property.
Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the equipment transfers to the customer.
Installation
Our quotation is based on the assumption that the installation can be completed in a single, continuous operation with access to all necessary areas. If access is not granted as expected and an additional visit is required, a fee of £135 + VAT will be added to the final invoice.
Remote Viewing & Network Connectivity
Our quotations do not include the provision of an internet connection or computer equipment. The quotation does include connecting the security system to a working router with a static IP address.
Any IT or network issues that arise during installation are not covered in our quotations. IDS Global (UK) Ltd is not responsible for slow image transmission resulting from insufficient internet speeds.
Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold IDS Global (UK) Ltd and its employees, contractors, and agents harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the installation, use, or maintenance of the security system.
This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, any claims for personal injury or property damage caused by the security system or the installation process.
Confidentiality
IDS Global (UK) Ltd is committed to protecting the confidentiality of our customers' personal and financial information. We will not disclose any such information to third parties without the customer's express consent, except as required by law.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
The provisions of the Fire Safety Act 2005 shall apply to all fire safety related installations and services provided by IDS Global (UK) Ltd.
