IDS Global has worked from 27-37 Station Road, Hayes, since it was established in 2011, and is a member of the IFSM and the FPA. From Hayes we take the A312 north to the Target Roundabout and follow the A40 Western Avenue east to the Westway junction beside Westfield.
Businesses and buildings in Shepherd's Bush & White City
Retail dominates the south of the area. Westfield London opened on 30 October 2008 between Wood Lane, the West Cross Route and the Westway, and after its final phase in October 2018 covers about 2.6 million sq ft, with around 320 stores and 5,500 parking spaces. Shepherd's Bush Green is a triangle of about eight acres, and Uxbridge Road, Goldhawk Road and Askew Road are lined with mostly independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Shepherd's Bush Market has traded beside and partly beneath the Hammersmith & City line viaduct since around 1914.
North of the Westway, media and science have replaced the BBC. Television Centre, opened in 1960 and partly Grade II listed, reopened in 2017 with apartments, offices, shops and three studios run by BBC Studioworks. White City Place, the 17-acre former BBC Media Village, houses ITV, BBC Research and Development and L'Oreal among others. Imperial College's White City Campus at 80 Wood Lane holds more than 5,000 scientists, clinicians, engineers and students across over 100 companies. The five-storey White City estate dates from the late 1930s and the post-war years.
